127、天堂的光不像尘世之光那样是属世之光,而是属灵之光,因为它来自显为太阳的主,这太阳是神性之爱(如前文所述)。在天堂,从显为太阳的主所发出的被称为神性真理,尽管它本质上是与神性真理合一的神性良善。由此,天使拥有光和热:光来自神性真理,热来自神性良善。由于天堂的光和热来自这样的源头,很显然,它们是属灵的而非属世的。{注1}

Heaven and Hell #127 (NCE, 2000)

127. Heaven's light is not natural like the light of our world, but spiritual. It actually comes from the Lord as the sun, and that sun, as explained in the preceding chapter, is divine love. While what emanates from the Lord as the sun is called divine truth in the heavens, in essence it is divine good as one with divine truth. This is the source of light and warmth for angels: they get their light from the divine truth and their warmth from the divine good.

We can therefore conclude that heaven's light, in view of the nature of its source, is spiritual and not natural, as is its warmth. 1

Footnotes:

1. All the light in the heavens is from the Lord as the sun: 1053, 1521, 3195, 3341, 3636, 3643, 4415, 9548, 9684, 10809. Divine truth emanating from the Lord appears in heaven as light, and constitutes all the light of heaven: 3195, 3222 [3223?], 5400, 8644, 9399, 9548, 9684.

Heaven and Hell #127 (Harley, 1958)

127. The light of heaven is not a natural light like that of the world, but a spiritual light because it is from the Lord as a Sun, and that Sun is the Divine Love, as shown in the previous section. That which goes forth from the Lord as a Sun is called in the heavens Divine Truth although in essence it is Divine Good united to Divine Truth. From this the angels have light and heat, light from Divine Truth, and heat from Divine Good. So, it can be confirmed from this that the light of heaven from such a source is spiritual and not natural, likewise the heat. 1

Footnotes:

1. All light in the heavens is from the Lord as a Sun (Arcana Coelestia 1053, 1521, 3195, 3341, 3636, 3643, 4415, 9548, 9684, 10809).

The Divine truth going forth from the Lord appears in heaven as light, and supplies all the light of heaven (Arcana Coelestia 3195, 3222-3223, 5400, 8644, 9399, 9548, 9684).

------------

Heaven and Hell #127 (Ager, 1900)

127. The light of heaven is not a natural light, like the light of the world, but a spiritual light, because it is from the Lord as a sun, and that sun is the Divine love (as has been shown in the foregoing chapter). That which goes forth from the Lord as a sun is called in the heavens Divine truth, but in its essence it is Divine good united to Divine truth. From this the angels have light and heat, light from Divine truth, and heat from Divine good. As the light of heaven, and the heat also, are from such a source, it is evident that they are spiritual and not natural. 1

Footnotes:

1. All light in the heavens is from the Lord as a sun (Arcana Coelestia 1053, 1521, 3195, 3341, 3636, 3643, 4415, 9548, 9684, 10809).

The Divine truth that goes forth from the Lord appears in heaven as light, and furnishes all the light of heaven (3195, 3222-3223, 5400, 8644, 9399, 9548, 9684).

De Coelo et de Inferno #127 (original Latin)

Footnotes:

1. Quod omnis lux in caelis sit a Domino ut Sole (1053, 1521, 3195, 3341, 3636, 3643, 4415, 9548, 9684, 10809).

Quod Divinum verum procedens a Domino, appareat in caelo ut lux, et sistat omnem lucem caeli (3295, 3222, [3223,] 5400, 8644, 9399, 9548, 9684).
