32、每个天堂都分内部和外部。那处于内部的天使被称为内部天使,而处于外部的天使被称为外部天使。在总体天堂或每个天堂,内部与外部的关系犹如人里面意愿与智力的关系:内部对应于意愿,外部对应于智力。意愿都有自己的智力,一个无法离开另一个而存在。意愿好比火,智力好比火所发出的光。{注1}

Heaven and Hell #32 (NCE, 2000)

32. There is an outside and an inside to each heaven. The angels who are in the inner region are there called "inner angels," while the ones in the outer region are called "outer angels." The outside and the inside in the heavens (or in each particular heaven) are like our own volitional side and its cognitive aspect. Everything volitional has its cognitive side - neither occurs without the other. The volitional is like a flame and the cognitive like the light that it sheds.

------------

Heaven and Hell #32 (Harley, 1958)

32. In each heaven there is an internal and an external. Those in the internal are there called internal angels, while those in the external are there called external angels. The internal and the external in the heavens, or in each heaven, have the same relation as the voluntary and its intellectual with a man, the internal being as the voluntary and the external as its intellectual. Every voluntary has its own intellectual, the one cannot exist without the other. The voluntary may be compared to a flame and its intellectual to the light therefrom.

------------

Heaven and Hell #32 (Ager, 1900)

32. In each heaven there is an internal and an external; those in the internal are called there internal angels, while those in the external are called external angels. The internal and the external in the heavens, or in each heaven, hold the same relation as the voluntary and intellectual in man-the internal corresponding to the voluntary, and the external to the intellectual. Everything voluntary has its intellectual; one cannot exist without the other. The voluntary may be compared to a flame and the intellectual to the light therefrom.

De Coelo et de Inferno #32 (original Latin)
