146、在天堂,主的属天国度的方位的形成不同于主的属灵的国度,因为在属天的国度,天使看主为一轮太阳,而在属灵的国度,天使看主则为一轮月亮,主所出现的地方就是东方。在那里,太阳和月亮之间相距30度,{注1}因此,他们的方位之间相隔同样的距离。天堂分为两个国度,称为属天的国度和属灵的国度,这一点可见于相关章节(20-28节);主在属天的国度看似一轮太阳,在属灵的国度看似一轮月亮(118节)。然而,这并不意味着天堂的方位因此变得混乱,因为属灵的天使不能上到属天的天使当中,属天的天使也不能下到属灵的天使当中,如前文所述(参看35节)。

{注1}:【英114】一种可能的解释是,属天的天使看主(显为太阳)与属灵的天使看主(显为月亮),在空中有30度的夹角。因此,属天国度与属灵国度的东方指向在罗盘上相差30度,如果放在同一张图上,两个国度的方位体系彼此相差一周的12分之一,大致相同但又不完全一样。然而,这不会引起混淆,因为两个国度彼此分开,没有天使同时生活在两套方位体系中。

天國中的太陽和月亮呈現三十度的距離, 兩個國度的方位自然也偏離同樣的角度。前面已談到天國的兩個國度, 分別稱為仁智天國和義信天國(20-28), 也談到主在仁智天國看似一輪太陽, 在義信天國看似一輪月亮(118)。但不管怎樣, 天國的方位不會因此產生混亂, 因為仁智天人不能上到義信天人的層次, 仁智天人也不能下到義信天人的層次(35)。

146. However, the regions in the heavens that make up the Lord's heavenly kingdom differ from those in the heavens that make up the Lord's spiritual kingdom. This is because to the angels in his heavenly kingdom the Lord looks like a sun, while to the angels in his spiritual kingdom he looks like a moon, and the east is where the Lord is seen.

The distance between the sun and the moon is thirty degrees, and the same alignment therefore holds true for the directions. The division of heaven into two kingdoms called the heavenly kingdom and the spiritual kingdom has been presented in its own chapter above (20-28), as has the Lord's looking like the sun in the heavenly kingdom and like the moon in the spiritual kingdom (118). Still, the directions are not rendered uncertain by this, since spiritual angels cannot rise up to the level of heavenly angels, nor the latter come down to the former (see 35 above).

The quarters in the heavens which constitute the Lord's celestial kingdom differ from the quarters in the heavens which constitute His spiritual kingdom for the reason that the Lord is seen by the angels in His celestial kingdom as a Sun but by the angels in His spiritual kingdom as a Moon, and the east is where the Lord appears. The distance there between the Sun and the Moon is thirty degrees, hence there is the same distance between the quarters. That heaven is distinguished into two kingdoms called the celestial kingdom and the spiritual kingdom may be seen in the appropriate section (20-28), also that the Lord appears in the celestial kingdom as a Sun, and in the spiritual kingdom as a Moon (118). Yet it does not follow that the quarters of heaven become confused on this account, since the spiritual angels cannot ascend to the celestial angels nor can the celestial descend to the spiritual angels, as may be seen above (35).
