286、先谈谈平安的起源。神性的平安在主里面,来自于祂里面的神性本身和神性之人的合一。在天堂,平安的神性来自主,源于祂与天堂天使的结合,尤其源于每位天使里面良善和真理的结合,这些是平安的起源。由此可以确定,天堂的平安就是神性从至内在以祝福影响一切良善,天堂的一切喜乐由此而来。就其本质而言,这平安也就是主的神性之爱的神性喜乐,产生于祂与天堂及那里每位天使的结合。主在天使里面以及天使从主所感受到的这喜乐就是平安。由此流出来,为天使提供一切蒙福、愉快和幸福的事物,这就是所谓的“属天的喜乐”。{注1}

Heaven and Hell #286 (NCE, 2000)

286. First, we need to say where peace comes from. Divine peace is within the Lord, arising from the oneness of his divine nature and the divine human nature within him. The divine quality of peace in heaven comes from the Lord, arising from his union with heaven's angels, and specifically from the union of the good and the true within each angel. These are the sources of peace. We may therefore conclude that peace in the heavens is the divine nature intimately affecting everything good there with blessedness. So it is the source of all the joy of heaven. In its essence, it is the divine joy of the Lord's divine love, arising from his union with heaven and with every individual there. This joy, perceived by the Lord in the angels and by the angels from the Lord, is peace. It flows down from there to provide angels with everything that is blessed and delightful and happy - what is called "heavenly joy." 1

Footnotes:

1. In the highest sense, peace means the Lord, because he is the source of peace; and in the inner sense it means heaven, because people there are in a state of peace: 3780, 4681. Peace in the heavens is the divine nature profoundly touching everything good and true there with a blessedness that is beyond our comprehension: 92, 3780, 5662, 8455, 8665. Divine peace occurs in what is good, but not in what is true apart from what is good: 8722.

Heaven and Hell #286 (Harley, 1958)

286. First, the origin of peace will be considered. Divine peace is in the Lord; it comes into existence from the union of the Divine Itself and the Divine Human in Him. The Divine of peace in heaven is from the Lord, coming into existence from His conjunction with the angels of heaven, and in particular from the conjunction of the good and truth with any one angel. These are the origins of peace. From this it can be established that peace in the heavens is the Divine inmostly affecting with blessedness everything good therefrom, and from this is every joy of heaven; also that it is in its essence the Divine joy of the Lord's Divine Love, resulting from His conjunction with heaven and with every one there. This joy, perceived by the Lord in angels and by angels from the Lord, is peace. By derivation from this the angels have everything that is blessed, delightful, and happy, or that which is called heavenly joy. 1

Footnotes:

1. By peace in the highest sense the Lord is meant, because peace is from Him, and in the internal sense heaven is meant, because those who are there are in a state of peace (Arcana Coelestia 3780, 4681).

Peace in the heavens is the Divine inmostly affecting with blessedness everything good and true there, and this peace is incomprehensible to man (Arcana Coelestia 92, 3780, 5662, 8455, 8665).

Divine peace is in good, but not in truth apart from good (Arcana Coelestia 8722).

Heaven and Hell #286 (Ager, 1900)

286. The origin of peace shall be first considered. Divine peace is in the Lord; it springs from the union of the Divine Itself and the Divine Human in Him. The Divine of peace in heaven is from the Lord, springing from His conjunction with the angels of heaven, and in particular from the conjunction of good and truth in each angel. These are the origins of peace. From this it can be seen that peace in the heavens is the Divine inmostly affecting with blessedness everything good therefrom, and from this is every joy of heaven; also that it is in its essence the Divine joy of the Lord's Divine love, resulting from His conjunction with heaven and with everyone there. This joy, felt by the Lord in angels and by angels from the Lord, is peace. By derivation from this the angels have everything that is blessed, delightful, and happy, or that which is called heavenly joy. 1

Footnotes:

1. By peace in the highest sense the Lord is meant, because peace is from Him, and in the internal sense heaven is meant, because those are in a state of peace (Arcana Coelestia 3780, 4681).

Peace in the heavens is the Divine inmostly affecting with blessedness everything good and true there, and this peace is incomprehensible to man (92, 3780, 5662, 8455, 8665).

Divine peace is in good, but not in truth apart from good (8722).

De Coelo et de Inferno #286 (original Latin)

286. Unde pax primum dicetur.
