1724、创世记14:18.又有撒冷王麦基洗德拿出饼和酒;他是至高神的祭司。
“麦基洗德”表示主的内层人的属天事物;“撒冷王”表示内层事物或理性事物的一种平安状态;“拿出饼”表示属天事物和它们所提供的精神焕发;“和酒”表示属灵事物和它们所提供的精神焕发;“他是祭司”表示爱的神圣;“至高神”表示内在人,也就是耶和华。

[NCE]1724. Genesis 14:18. And Melchizedek, king of Salem, brought out bread and wine; and he was a priest to God the Highest.
Melchizedek symbolizes the heavenly qualities of the Lord's intermediate self. King of Salem symbolizes the peaceful state{*1} of his intermediate plane, or his rational mind. Brought out bread symbolizes heavenly qualities and the refreshment they provide. And wine symbolizes spiritual qualities and the refreshment they provide. And he was a priest symbolizes holy love. To God the Highest symbolizes his inner self, which was Jehovah.

1724. Verse 18. And Melchizedek king of Salem bought forth bread and wine; and he was priest to God Most High. "Melchizedek" signifies the celestial things of the interior man in the Lord; "king of Salem," signifies a state of peace as to interior or rational things; "brought forth bread," signifies celestial things and the refreshment from them; "and wine," signifies spiritual things and the refreshment from them; "and he was priest," signifies the holy of love; "to God Most High," signifies the internal man, which is Jehovah.

1724. Verse 18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; and he was a priest to God Most High.

'Melchizedek' means the celestial things of the Lord's Interior Man. 'King of Salem' means a state of peace as regards interior or rational things. 'He brought out bread' means celestial things and the refreshment received from them. 'And wine' means spiritual things and the refreshment received from them. 'And he was a priest' means the holiness of love. 'To God Most High' means the Internal Man, which is Jehovah.

'Malkizedech' significat caelestia interioris hominis apud Dominum: 'rex Shalem' significat statum pacis quoad interiora seu rationalia: 'eduxit panem' significat caelestia et recreationem inde: 'et vinum' significat spiritualia et recreationem inde: 'et ille sacerdos' significat sanctum amoris: 'Deo Altissimo' significat Internum Hominem, Qui Jehovah.
